Anticipating having more time after their retirement, this couple wanted to engage more with their land, wanted to grow more of their own food and potentially have a market garden. Adjacent to their house was an open field that provided the perfect place to have a significant garden. The result was a plan for a fenced garden space with multiple beds, cold frames, access for a tractor, and a pergola flanked by fruit trees, providing a place to rest and enjoy the wonders of their garden.
